Ms. Theresa Luk
Theresa is an IP Partner at Deacons. She is qualified in Hong Kong and is a Council Member of The Licensing Executives Society, China – Hong Kong sub-chapter, as well as a working committee member of Intellectual Property Rights Protection Alliance. Theresa is one of the few lawyers in Hong Kong specialising in patent litigation. Her broad practice also covers IP protection and enforcement in the areas of trade mark, patents, registered designs, passing off, copyright, trade secrets and confidential information, company names and domain names, as well as IP commercial and local law compliance matters.

Mr. Sven Torringer
Mr. Sven Torringer is the Director, Senior Counsel Legal & Business of Sisvel Group. Mr. Torringer is an experienced IP and legal professional with a record of successfully managing complex legal issues in IP, licensing and M&A transactions across the globe. His expertise includes managing licensing, patent divestitures and acquisitions, and strategic opinion and counselling work. His current responsibilities include managing Sisvel Cellular IoT, a patent pool providing licenses for patent portfolios belonging to more than 30 high-tech companies to IoT companies across the globe.

Ms. Noletta Chiu
Ms. Noletta Chiu is currently the Executive Director of Medialink Group Limited. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Film Production, making the Dean’s List, from Southern Illinois University. She has entered the licensing industry for over 28 years. In her current role, Ms. Chiu provides strategic advice and manages licensing for well-known brands, such as The Little Prince, Sesame Street, Garfield, Popeye, and Emoji, along with popular Japanese brands like Jujutsu Kaisen and Gundam. Ms. Chiu has been managing The Little Prince brand for over 20 years and founded the Little Prince Foundation in Hong Kong in 2023, where she serves as Chairman.

Target Audience
Entrepreneurs, IP owners and executives of local startups/ small and medium enterprises/ large enterprises. Participants should possess basic knowledge of IP.
