Ms. Stella Law
Stella specializes in providing consultancy and valuation of business and intangible assets with over 20 years’ experience. She has extensive experience covering full phases of M&A activities in relation to intellectual properties, from pre-Deal analysis to due diligence during the negotiation process and financial reporting purpose upon deal completion. The valuation services cover a wide range of industries including apparel, food & beverage, property, hotel and leisure, infrastructure, environmental protection, construction, manufacturing, etc. She has served owners of small-to medium size privately held companies, to listed companies to state own enterprises.
It is her daily work to cooperate with business owners’ advisors such as financial advisors, sponsors, lawyers and auditors to develop optimal client solutions. Currently, her primary focus is on the preparation of valuations which are in compliance with listing rule and financial reporting purpose. Prior founding her own company, she was leading the business valuation department of an S&P 500 company and she also one of the founders of the valuation arm of a top ten international accounting firm. Her expertise is on valuation of intangible assets especially on trademarks and patents.
Stella has obtained Master of Science in Financial Analysis (Hong Kong University of Science and Technology) and Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering (University of Hong Kong). She is Accredited Senior Appraiser of American Society of Appraiser (ASA), Member of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and Member of Licensing Executives Society China
